Water Rushes into Metro Station, Causing Significant Damage

The Onpassive Metro station in Dubai experienced severe flooding following heavy rains that swept across the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday. Water from outside the station rushed in, causing significant damage to the infrastructure.

The intense rainfall also led to localized flooding and flight disruptions at Dubai International Airport. According to Dubai Airports, 17 flights were canceled due to the weather conditions.

Weather warnings remain in place as large parts of the UAE continue to be lashed by torrential rain and thunderstorms. Residents are advised to take precautions and avoid unnecessary travel during this time.

The severe weather conditions are forecast to continue over the weekend, with heavy rain and strong winds expected. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a red alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.
