England Made It Two Wins From Two In Their Euro 2024 Warm Up Games With A Comfortable 2 0 Victory Against Bosnia Herzegovina At St James Park

England beat Bosnia-Herzegovina to boost Euro 2024 hopes

England made it two wins from two in their Euro 2024 warm-up games with a comfortable 2-0 victory against Bosnia-Herzegovina at St James' Park.

Goals from Cole Palmer and Trent Alexander-Arnold were enough to secure the victory, with both players impressing on their first starts for the Three Lions.

Palmer, who has been in fine form for Manchester City this season, opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a well-taken finish from inside the box. Alexander-Arnold then doubled England's lead just before half-time with a stunning volley from a tight angle.

England were in control for much of the match and could have scored more goals, but they were denied by some good saves from Bosnia goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehic.

The win will give Gareth Southgate's side a boost ahead of their opening Euro 2024 game against Italy on June 14.
