Black Hawks Passau Pass Riessersee Derby 8-3

Black Hawks Passau secured an important derby win in the ice hockey Oberliga Süd on Wednesday. In front of 1545 spectators in the Passau EHF stadium, the Passau team defeated SC Riessersee 8:3 (3:1, 2:1, 3:1).

The Black Hawks thus moved up to seventh place in the table. Riessersee remains in fifth place.

The Hawks started the game highly motivated and took an early lead through a goal from Marinus Hafenrichter in the 2nd minute.

The ESC responded immediately and equalized to make it 1:1 in the 3rd minute through Lubor Dibelka.

In the 9th minute, Tomas Rubes gave Passau the lead again with a shorthanded goal. In the 18th minute, Petr Heider increased the lead to 3:1 in the majority.

In the second period, Tomas Rubes scored again for the Hawks in the 21st minute. In the 30th minute, Robin Soudek made it 5:1 for Passau.

The Riessersee team managed to score again in the 39th minute through Simon Mayr to make it 5:2.

In the last third, Tomas Rubes completed his hat trick for the Hawks in the 45th minute. In the 52nd minute, Jaroslav Hafenrichter increased the lead to 7:2 for Passau.

In the 55th minute, Riessersee's Nick Huard managed to score again to make it 7:3. Just 15 seconds later, however, Christian Pilch scored the final 8:3 for Passau.
